Prague Guide
Praha Card is an adult chat site built like a card file of Prague: sixteen invented women, one or two to a district, each with a trade, a pub and a temper. Nothing in it is a real address or a real person.
What this is
We invented 16 Czech women who ended up in Prague, from a brewer in Zizkov to a bookseller in Letna, and gave each a few cards that open her chat in the middle of an argument. You read a card, sit down, and she carries on. We chose the card file because Prague is a city of tabs: districts, tram lines, regulars' tables. A visitor learns it best through somebody who disagrees with the guidebook.
About the number in the address
The 18 is a door sign, and it means adults only. It refers to nothing else, and no card hints that anyone is below that age. The women are grown, with long working lives behind them. We say so here and on the front page so there is no room for doubt.
What this site will not do
- Run a casting, a street offer or any hire of real people.
- Show or name a real pub, brewery, landlord or address.
- Arrange a visit, a date or a tour: there is nobody to visit.
- Dress up a character as a person, or the other way round.
- Allow anyone under 18 near a scene, on any pretext at all.
Writing to the file clerk
A real person opens the mailbox named at the foot of the page. Corrections, complaints and your own preferred word for lager all arrive there, and the last category is read with relish.
